Camp River Wildlife Area

Six members spent an hour blackberry cutting on a mild morning before our steward, Denis Knopp, led a walk-about of the property. He began by sharing the history of acquiring the area as a wildlife area for Nature Trust. Not an easy task.  Pussy Willows bloomed, song birds chirped and a red-tailed hawk circled.  The list submitted to ebird by Janne Perrin is below:
