April 8, 2019: CFN Field Trip to Burnaby Lake Regional Park

Seven member of the Club went to Burnaby Lake Regional Park for a Field Trip led by Paulina and Fernando. None of the participants had visited previously this site.

The visit commenced at Piper Pit, where by chance we met with Istvan Orsi, joined us on our walk from Piper Pit to the dam at the east end of the lake. Although the trip was cut short by rain, it was a nice and informative visit, and after a lunch eaten in the car, we returned home

With the help of Istvan, we identified a total of 43 bird species of which 2 were identified by Istvan by their song.
