Manning Alpine trip July 22, 2015

Twenty seven naturalists form 4 Lower Mainland clubs enjoyed a rare cool July day exploring the Manning alpine.  Many birds, flowers and butterflies abounded.  Highlights included a hoary marmot - though to extirpated from the alpine by a series of long winter in the early 2000's- and Vidler's alpines, Sonora skippers and friendly gray jay families landing on our hands.
