Manning Park

July 20, 2016

Our trip to Manning Park was very enjoyable, the weather was great and the group, while only 5, had a good time together.  We saw a number of different birds and flowers, and many other people, who were also enjoying this spectacular place. At the first lookout, we enjoyed the Clarke’s Nutcrackers, Ravens, and chipmunks.
Further along, at  the upper end of the lookout road, the group enjoyed a walk along the various trails.  Afterward , we departed for Lightening Lake and some of the group walked around the first lake. A stop at Hope for dinner and then back home. - Terry Letcher
